The website for upcoming non-profit project Tehama Together is now online. This site with feature company news, member bios, contact information. Also to include separate website for each of the entities underneath the umbrella of Tehama Together. Soon websites for the Natural Food Market, Community Lounge (Coffee House), Education/Workshops and Community Resource and Outreach Center.
In the coming days the Forum will also go live. This a great way for the community to get involved in what happens with this great project for our community. You will be able to get in contact with the committee chairs and voice your opinion. Share your ideas and requests. Voice what you think are the community needs. As well as see what coming events are happening.
Our next Executive Meeting for the chairs is Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 1-3pm. The meeting with be held at Daily Signs.
The next General Meeting will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 1pm at Daily Signs. After the General Meeting we will meet in our committee groups. Everyone is welcome to attend the General Meeting and we encourage new members to sit in on committee meetings.
Tehama Together is a non-profit group in the process of assembling under a 501 (c) (3). It is our focus to create a Center under one roof that will consist of a Community Lounge with a coffee house atmosphere, a Natural Food Market, a place to facilitate educational and fun workshops along with a Community Services Network.
It is the intent of Tehama Together to spearhead community projects that have been initiated by its members to enrich the lives of the inhabitants of Tehama County. For example a Community Garden that enlists the involvement of Youth and provides food to those in need. These projects will be in part funded by the Centers entities along with fund raisers, grants and donations.
